Cellulose derivatives crosslinked by citric acid on electrode surface as a heavy metal absorption/sensing matrix

چکیده
Modification of cellulose derivatives with citric acid leads to gain in sorption capacity towards metal ions, which has been many times applied for heavy sequestration. This work, the first time, investigated in-situ coating a carbon electrode acid-crosslinked derivatives. The occurrence crosslinking bonds was revealed using infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis, while other features were electrochemical methods. Electrodes modified by casting aqueous solutions (hydroxyethyl cellulose, HEC thermally pre-treated carboxymethyl T-CMC) mixed (CA) on surface, followed thermal treatment (110 °C, 1 h) reach requested HEC-CA T-CMC-CA hydrogels coated glassy electrodes. After absorption cations from solution, electrodes both exhibited stripping voltammetry peaks Pb, Cd Cu, contrary prepared without crosslinking. It also observed that surface change its impedance reversibly after deposition acid-induced removal Pb2+. Assessment Pb2+ sensing properties detection limit 0.39 mg L−1 sensitivity 9.91 μA L mg−1. Therefore, can be employed preparation cheap sustainable sensors similar surfaces.

متن کاملPhytochelatin Modified Electrode Surface as a Sensitive Heavy-Metal Ion Biosensor
Electrochemical biosensors have superior properties over other existing measurement systems because they can provide rapid, simple and low-cost on-field determination of many biological active species and a number of dangerous pollutants. In our work, we suggested a new heavy metal biosensor based on interaction of heavy metal ions (Cd and Zn) with phytochelatin, which was adsorbed on the surfa...

1 attachment, which is lost during disease. This type of regeneration is described by the term 'New attachment'. New attachment is the embedding of new periodontal ligament fibres on to new cementum previously denuded by the periodontal disease. Factors interfering with new attachment are plaque, calculus, infected cementum and alterations in mineral density and composition of root. These obsta...

There has been an increasing trend in the production and consumption of local and imported fruit juices in Iran. The presence of impurities and foreign matter in finished products for human consumption is of great concern because they present health hazards when they exceed beneficial limits. The manufacture of juices requires special attention in terms of purity and the sources of water and it...

Cellulose bonded N-propyl diethylene tetra sulfamic acid (CBPDETSA) was successfully applied as a green and recyclable acidic catalyst for the synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo [a] xanthene-11-one as an important class of potentially bioactive compounds. The products are obtained by the coupling of 2-naphtol , cyclohexadione and aldehyde derivatives in good to high yields (70- 92%) under solvent-fre...
